I’m Seran Shanmugathas. I live in Trondheim, where I develop innovative software solutions.

I am a passionate software developer, currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at NTNU. My journey has taken me across various roles from AI & data consulting to full-stack development.

With a strong foundation in Python, Java, and TypeScript, I focus on delivering scalable, tech-forward solutions for startups and established companies alike. My work spans across anomaly detection, smart EV charging applications, and machine learning-driven optimization systems.

I co-founded Vext Consulting, where my team and I help early-stage startups leverage technology to accelerate growth. Whether it’s building end-to-end systems or contributing to existing solutions, I enjoy tackling challenges with a problem-solving mindset.

Outside of work, I’m continuously learning and applying new technologies, currently exploring cloud platforms like AWS and AI/ML tools like PyTorch and Hugging Face.
